Veterinarians

Dr. Harper

Dr. Harper graduated from Louisiana State University and became a veterinarian in 2000. He purchased Village Pet Hospital from Dr. Arnold and became it's primary vet in 2003.

His love for animals and their owners make him an exceptional veterinarian. Dr. Harper works primarily on small animals, such as dogs and cats, but he has tackled various wild life from time to time.

When he isn't working at the clinic, he enjoys being at the lake, hiking, skiing, or going to movies with his wife and kids. Not to mention the occasional walk on the beach (as often as possible!).

Dr. Gregory

Dr. Gregory graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2018 and became a full time veterinarian in June of 2018. She completed her off campus rotations with us as well and fell in love with the clinic, so she decided to stay! Dr. Gregory has been working in the veterinary field for many years , starting with work as a kennel attendant when she was in high school. In her free time, she enjoys playing softball, cheering on her Alma Mater, and spending time on the lake with her husband, Michael, and her sweet dog, Derek. 

Dr. Brown

Dr. Brown graduated from Colorado State University. She started working with us in 2016, and currently works Monday- Friday mornings. She brings her sweet dog, Kobe, with her to work- which is an added bonus!

Dr. Duckett

Dr. Duckett graduated from LSU in 1995 and become a part-time Veterinarian at our clinic in 2018. He can be found here on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. He has previously owned two practices in central Arkansas, and decided to move up here to be closer to his daughter and granddaughter. 

Dr. Keaton

Dr. Keaton graduated from Missouri University and became a veterinarian in 2000. She joined Village Pet Hospital while we were still in our small clinic location in 2007. Dr. Keaton is one of our part time vets, alternating her time between our clinic and another mixed large and companion animal hospital. She likes working on horses and cows as much as she does dogs and cat.

Dr. Keaton is very family oriented and enjoys showing cattle and attending her children's rodeo competitions in her spare time.

You can find her in our clinic on most Mondays and Thursdays

Dr. Zack

Dr. Zack graduated from Louisiana State University in 2007. He started at Village Pet Hospital in 2017 and only works with us on Wednesdays. Dr. Zack is mostly known for his practice of holistic medicine and acupuncture. He works with multiple clinics in the area and volunteers in local shelters. Dr. Zack enjoys travelling and being outdoors.

Debbie- CVPM

Debbie has worked at Village Pet Hospital since 2012, but has worked in the veterinary field for 30 years total. She carries out her skills as our Certified Practice Manager. She has several pets of her own, including various farm life. She enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

Tilly

Tilly has worked at Village Pet Hospital since 2014. She began her veterinary career while in high school as a kennel attendant and has since, worked her way up. She has several pets of her own including dogs, birds, and a little homestead of feathered friends. She enjoys being outdoors, wildlife rehab, singing, and spending time with family and friends.

Kendra

Kendra began her veterinary career with Village Pet Hospital in 2017. She began as a kennel attendant and has worked her way up! She has 2 dogs- one of which she adopted through us. She has a wild streak - and enjoys going paintballing on the weekends. 

Olivia

Olivia joined our team in 2021. She has worked in the field since 2015 and is currently studying for her VTNE this fall. She is a huge family girl and takes care of her 3 cats and dog named Joe!

Mystree- CVT

Mystree joined our clinic in 2021. She has worked in the field since 2018 and has recently graduated from Crowder College as a licensed technician. She has been around animals her whole life and currently owns many dogs and cats of her own. She enjoys going hiking and kayaking with her boyfriend and dog, Koko.

Michelle

Michelle joined our team in 2021. She worked at another local clinic for several years prior to moving here. She has 6 dogs and a pet rooster! She enjoys going out with her husband on the weekends and taking care of her two grandchildren.

Kim

Alex

Alex is our very own Dr. Harper's son! He is currently completing his internship through the Animal Science program at BHS. He has hopes of becoming a veterinarian one day and taking over the family business. He is a very talented artist and takes interest in cars.

Jade joined our team in 2021 and has worked in this field on and off for 10 years. She is the proud mom of 3 dachshunds and loves to be outdoors and kayak. 

Krista

Krista started at Village Pet Hospital in 2021. Before starting here, she taught school as a 6th grade teacher. She has several animals of her own- including a great dane, cats, rabbits, and a horse! She enjoys riding her horses and spending time with family. 

Skyler

Brittney joined our crew in 2021. She has been working in the vet world since 2017. She has several pets of her own and has enjoyed becoming hands on with the patients. She is a wonderful foster parent and is currently expecting one of her own! She is an avid reader and loves to cook and be out on the boat.

Kent began his veterinary career with Village Pet Hospital in 2016. He has 1 dog and 1 cat. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his son and Weenie Dog Race winner, Lucy. 

Evan

Evan joined our team in 2021. He hopes to become a Veterinarian one day and plans to begin school in the Spring. He is a big outdoors guy: hunting, fishing, and camping. He has several pets of his own and loves getting to love on everyone else's while at work!
